Wildcat Fencing Club

Wildcat Fencing Club is a part-time club run by members of the Northwestern University coaching staff. We offer epee group classes and open bouting as well as lessons in epee and sabre. Competitive experience is required for participation in the epee group classes and open bouting. At this time, we are unable to offer beginner fencing classes.

USA Fencing Membership is required for all participants. Memberships are available here: https://www.usafencing.org/membership

Location: Patten Gymnasium, 2407 Sheridan Road, Evanston. Parking and entry is available on the south side of the building.

Group Classes and Open Bouting

Group Class and Open Bouting Schedule:

• Mondays

  • 7-8pm Epee Footwork and Conditioning Class

  • 8-9:30pm Open Bouting

• Tuesdays

  • 7-8pm Epee Partner Drill and Structured Bouting Class

  • 8-9:30pm Open Bouting

• Thursdays

  • 7-8pm Epee Partner Drill and Structured Bouting Class

  • 8-9:30pm Open Bouting

Pricing

Group classes are available at a monthly rate or at a drop-in rate. Monthly rate is $250 to attend unlimited classes and drop-in rate is $25/class.

Open bouting sessions are available at a monthly rate or a drop-in rate. Monthly rate is $75 to attend unlimited sessions and drop-in rate is $10/session

All open bouting sessions are included free of charge when paying for monthly group classes. When paying to drop-in for a group class, attendance at the open bouting session that night is included free of charge.

Please note: drop-in class or open bouting fees are only payable in-person.
